Methods for Administering Stem Cells
Injection Stem Cell Therapy
Injection stem cell therapy is the most common method and used around the world. The stem cells are injected directly in the affected area for maximum pain relief. This treatment is highly effective towards joint pain.
IV Stem Cell Therapy
Unlike the injection method, IV treatment utilizes stem cell infusion so that the stem cells can spread across the body and cover a wide range, rather than only needing to affect one area. This method is being practiced around the world.
Nebulizer Stem Cell Therapy
During a world pandemic, researchers have worked hard to find a better way to inject stem cells to fight Covid-19 and other lung diseases. Nebulizers convert a liquid substance into an aerosol. Although not as common, this method is still being used around the world.
Intranasal Stem Cell Therapy
Intranasal stem cell therapy is the newest method of inserting stem cells. It is used for neurodegenerative diseases and cerebrovascular diseases. This method is effective for the brain because it can bypass the blood-brain barrier and reach the brain parenchyma. It is less invasive than injection therapy, and can be done repeatedly. There are currently only three clinics performing this method.
